About

Sam Crome

I’m Sam Crome, an Education leader passionate about how teams thrive, perform, and grow together.

I am Director of Education, Mission and People for Xavier Catholic Education Trust, and essentially my job involves providing both strategic vision and planning, alongside day-to-day school support, so that all children and staff in our schools can flourish. Our trust’s schools are high-performing and exceptional places for children to learn, and these outcomes are built upon a strong foundation of belonging, shared vision, and a culture of both love and high expectations of one another.

I have been a Senior Leader in two outstanding schools that consistently achieve outcomes in the top 1% nationally, and have been a Deputy Headteacher for the last five years.

Over the last 5 years, I have been compelled to understand, research, explore, and interview high-performing teams. I’m certain that teams are the way to improve our workload, productivity, professional learning, performance, and the joy we can experience at work!

Sadly, teams are often neglected when it comes to the aims or priorities of an organisation.

Join me, as I continue to explore what helps team thrive and perform their best.

I am available for CPD, to speak at events, and to do more ongoing work with teams and organisations. Please get in touch: crometeams@gmail.com
